New venue for our meetings

3 April 2017

We’ve had a review of how and where we meet up and a couple of changes have been made. The main thing is the location – the room we have used for some time in Great Eccleston is fine, and the staff there have been helpful, but we decided that a more central location would work best. So we now meet on the third Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Black Horse pub on Friargate. This is a fine, old ‘proper’ pub and we have a cosy room to ourselves for the informal get-togthers. There is no charge if you weant to come along and join us – the subjects for each discussion are posted in advance. Each quarter we are looking to have a more formal presentation-type meeting, currently jointly with Bolton Humanists at the Quaker Meeting Rooms in Blackburn. Check the Events section for details of the next one.
